Mrigashira is the fifth Nakshatra among the group of Nakshatras. It extends from 23°20′ of Taurus to 6°40′ of Gemini. In other words, half of this Nakshatra lies in Taurus and the remaining half lies in Gemini. The first half is ruled by Venus, while the second half is ruled by Mercury. The ruling planet of the Nakshatra itself is Mars.
From this combination of Venus and Mars, the native becomes inclined towards beautiful and attractive aspects of worldly life.
